Two Delis, Two Sandwiches, One Fruit — All for Fanny’s!

A Little Friendly Competition

Have you heard the news? East Nashville favorites Mitchell Deli and Eastwood Deli Co are neck n’ neck to claim the title of best tomato sandwich in town. If you’ve been to either, you know neither place is messing around. Each sources local and high quality ingredients and is heavily invested in the East Nashville community. Still, we are honored that these two cozy establishments are using the best of what they’ve got to support Fanny’s School of Music, our 501c3, soon-to-be building that will serve our community. Leading up to Tomato Arts Fest, the two will donate $1 of each specialty tomato sandwich to our school! How amazing!

What the Fanny’s owners are saying…

P and Leigh (the owners of Fanny’s) stopped in for lunch at Eastwood the other day, and came back to the shop singing its praises.

Of the Fancy for Fanny’s, P said: “It was really good! Heirloom tomatoes, mozzarella and homemade English Muffins to die for! We can’t wait to try Mitchell’s next!”

So what are you waiting for?

At Eastwood, ask for the “Fancy for Fanny’s” and at Mitchell, look for the “Fanny’s Flavor Fest!” Both look DELICIOUS! Stop in to BOTH our local faves ASAP, and don’t miss out on the chance to be a “judge” of the competition! After you annihilate each one, be sure to vote for your favorite on our Facebook Page Poll here!
